Product Description & Care Information
Each handcrafted serving tray set includes the appropriate hardware, pre-drilled dishware, and assembly instructions needed to create your finished piece. Each set is thoughtfully assembled using second-hand/pre-owned dishware, making every tray unique in its pattern, character, and history.
Because the dishware is pre-owned, variations in color, glaze, markings, age, finish, and minor cosmetic imperfections are to be expected and are considered part of the character of each individual piece. These characteristics do not necessarily indicate a defect.
Dishware Condition & Lead Testing
Each dishware pattern and design offered has been tested for lead using an at-home lead testing kit. The testing performed on the applicable dishware yielded a negative result.
Please note that at-home lead testing kits are screening tools and are not equivalent to laboratory testing or certification. Accordingly, The Keys Etiquette Consulting, LLC does not represent or warrant that any dishware is completely free of lead or other potentially hazardous substances.
Customers should carefully review the product photographs and description before purchase and should use the product only as expressly outlined in these care and use instructions.
Glaze Crazing, Cracks & Imperfections
Some pieces may display fine lines or cracking within the glaze, commonly referred to as crazing. This is a characteristic that may occur naturally in certain types of ceramic or porcelain glaze and may be present in pre-owned dishware.
The drilling process required to create each serving tray may also result in minor cracking or other visible imperfections. Any significant cracking resulting from drilling will be disclosed and pictured in the individual product listing.
Due to the nature of handmade products and the use of pre-owned materials, each serving tray is unique. No two sets are guaranteed to be identical, and variations in pattern, color, finish, glaze, markings, and condition are to be expected.
Care & Use
To maintain the beauty and integrity of your serving tray, the following care instructions must be followed:
Hand wash dishware and hardware only.
Dry all components thoroughly immediately after washing.
Do not microwave.
Do not place in an oven.
Do not use on a hotplate, stovetop, or other direct heat source.
Do not use to display or serve hot foods or hot items.
Intended exclusively for cool or room-temperature foods and decorative serving purposes.
Failure to follow these instructions may result in damage to the dishware, hardware, or finished serving tray and may increase the possibility of cracking, breakage, or other damage. Even though the dish may indicate otherwise, please follow the guidelines listed above to ensure safety.
Purchase Acknowledgment
By purchasing this product, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:

Carefully Packaged with Purpose
We know that opening a Made to Gather Collection package should feel just as special as the piece inside.
Each item is wrapped and secured with care using appropriate protective materials to help minimize the risk of damage during transit. Because our collection includes unique and often one-of-a-kind pieces, packaging may not look identical from order to order.
Vintage & Pre-Owned Materials
Many Made to Gather Collection pieces incorporate second-hand, vintage, or pre-owned dishware. These materials are intentionally selected for their beauty, character, history, and individuality.
As a result, variations in color, pattern, glaze, finish, markings, and minor signs of age or previous use may be present.
These characteristics are part of what makes each piece unique and are not considered defects.
Damaged Packages
While we take great care in packaging every order, shipping fragile and vintage materials always carries some risk.
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 3 days of delivery and provide photographs of the item, the interior packaging, and the exterior shipping box. Please retain all original packaging until the matter has been resolved.
We will review the information provided and determine the appropriate next steps.
